ay marked a powerful conclusion to our summer Essentials series with Pastor Jamie Allen’s final message: "Be Baptized."
Drawing from Acts 2:38, we were reminded that baptism is not just a symbolic ritual—it’s a vital expression of obedience, faith, and surrender. Baptism declares to the world that we belong to Jesus and have been washed clean, raised to walk in new life with Him.
🔹 “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins…” – Acts 2:38
🙏 Thank you, Pastor Jamie, for leading us faithfully through the Essentials. As we look to what’s next, may we continue walking in the essentials of our faith—believing, confessing, repenting, being baptized, and living it out with courage and conviction.
Whether you’ve already been baptized or are still considering it, today’s message challenged us all to reflect:
👉 Have I taken the step of baptism?
👉 If so, am I walking daily in the new life it represents?
👉 If not, what’s holding me back?
🙌 Celebrating New Life in Christ
We were especially overjoyed to witness Sarah Campbell and Ashlyne Thornley take that incredible step of faith today as they were baptized into Christ. Their public declaration of faith was a beautiful reminder that God is still transforming lives and calling people to Himself.
As a church family, we rejoice with Sarah and Ashlyn and commit to walking with them as they grow in their journey with Jesus. If you see them this week, be sure to celebrate their decision and encourage them in this new beginning!
💦 If you’re ready to take the next step or have questions about baptism, we’d love to talk with you. Reach out to one of our leaders or contact us here.
