Big Idea: God created us to be in relationship with Him. He is personal, the source of life, gives us boundaries for our good, and established marriage between one man and one woman.

Scripture: Genesis 2:4–25

Message Outline

God is personal (Gen 2:5–7)
God has a special relationship with man (Gen 2:8–17)
God providentially cares for creation and provides boundaries (Gen 2:10–17)
God creates man and woman in innocence (Gen 2:18–25)

What this means today:

God created us to be in a relationship with Him
God is personal and close
God is the source of life
God gives boundaries to our relationship with Him
God establishes marriage between one man and one woman
