John 12:20-33

This message challenges us to move beyond seeing Jesus as just our Savior and fully surrender to Him as Lord.

In John 12, as people come seeking to “see” Jesus, He reveals that His purpose is not to be admired—but to be followed. Using the image of a seed that must die to produce life, Jesus points to His coming sacrifice on the cross and shows that true glory comes through surrender, not worldly success.

Jesus models complete obedience to the Father, even when facing suffering. Though troubled, He does not turn away from the cross but walks toward it—demonstrating what it means to trust God fully.

The call for us is the same:

Trust God’s timing instead of our own
Obey Him, even when it’s difficult
Die to ourselves so that real life in Christ can grow

Following Jesus isn’t about comfort—it’s about surrender. Many want a Savior, but fewer are willing to follow a Lord.

The question remains: Are we here to simply see Jesus… or to truly follow Him?
