OVERVIEW
One God, One Worship
Message by Rick Cunningham
Revelation 4 and 5
May 17, 2026
In Revelation 4 and 5, John is taken into the throne room of heaven where all of creation worships God alone. Pastor Rick Cunningham reminds us that worship is not just singing on Sundays—it is a life fully centered on God.
The vision of heaven reveals God’s holiness, power, and authority over all creation. The living creatures, elders, and angels continually declare His worthiness and lay everything before Him in worship.
Revelation 5 introduces the scroll containing God’s divine plan for creation. No one is worthy to open it except Jesus—the slain Lamb and risen King. Jesus alone has the authority to bring salvation, justice, and restoration.
Pastor Rick challenges the church to examine what truly has our attention and affection. Too often, people place their hope in comfort, politics, money, or worldly success instead of Christ. But Revelation points us back to the truth: Jesus alone is worthy of our trust, devotion, and worship.
When we worship the Lamb, we worship the Father. Jesus is the fullness of God revealed, and through Him alone we find salvation and hope.
