“Big doors turn on small hinges.”
Every person experiences turning points—moments when decisions or circumstances shape the direction of life. Some of these moments are filled with triumph. Others are marked by tragedy. But in all of them, God is present.
This August, we invite you to join us for David: Turning Points—a five-week series exploring the life of King David. Called “a man after God’s own heart,” David wasn’t perfect, but he had a deep desire to walk with God. Through both victories and failures, David's life reveals the power of God's grace, the weight of our choices, and the faithfulness of a redeeming God.
This series will also mark Pastor Jamie Allen’s final series at ACC, and we hope you’ll join us as we celebrate his ministry and dive deep into these powerful lessons from Scripture.

August 17 – Sin and Accountability📖 2 Samuel 11:26–12:24 David’s sin with Bathsheba was a tragic turning point, but God's grace met him there. Through the confrontation of the prophet Nathan, we’re reminded that God calls us to repentance and restoration.
August 24 – Helping the Hurting📖 2 Samuel 9:1–13I \n a beautiful act of kindness, David cares for Mephibosheth, the son of his friend Jonathan. What does compassion look like in our lives today?
August 31 – Releasing Resentment📖 2 Samuel 16 & 19, 1 Kings 2:8–10 David was wronged by Shimei, but how he responds over time shows the challenge and beauty of forgiveness. Can we let go of resentment and forgive as God forgives us?
