Theme Verse:
Luke 12:48 – “Much is required from those to whom much is given.”
Samson’s life was full of potential, power, and purpose—but it also shows how pride and misused strength can lead to a tragic fall. Still, God’s grace had the final word.
Join us at Ashland Church of Christ for a 3-part sermon series by Pastor Jamie Allen. He will be exploring how God blesses us, how we sometimes fall, and how He restores those who turn back to Him. Whether you feel strong in your faith or broken by failure, Samson's story is for you.
🗓 Lesson #1 – May 25, 2025
Title: “Strong Blessing”
Big Idea: Samson was blessed beyond measure—born to godly parents and given supernatural strength. But those blessings weren’t meant for show; they were meant to serve God's mission.
💡 Our strengths are from God, and they’re meant to glorify Him—not ourselves.
Reflection:
Are you recognizing the gifts God has given you?
Are you using your strength for His kingdom, or your own gain?
🗓 Lesson #2 – June 1, 2025
Title: “Strong Failing”
Big Idea: Samson’s downfall came from unchecked pride. His strength became his weakness because he forgot where it came from.
👣 Pride is a slow slide—not a sudden fall. But even our greatest failures can be redeemed by God.
📖 “When I am weak, then I am strong.” – 2 Corinthians 12:10
📖 “Pride ends in humiliation, while humility brings honor.” – Proverbs 29:23
Reflection:
What small compromises are pulling you away from God?
Will you surrender your pride before it becomes your prison?
🗓 Lesson #3 – June 8, 2025
Title: “Strong Restoration”
Big Idea: Even after his failures, Samson found grace. God restored his purpose in a powerful way—but not without cost. In the end, Samson gave his life for the glory of God.
🙌 Your past does not disqualify you. God offers hope, purpose, and new strength when you turn back to Him.
We end the series with three soul-searching questions:
Can I really have hope for the future with my past? → Yes!
What would I be willing to die for?
When should I give my life to Jesus? → The answer is now.
