The Power of the Rooted Prayer Experience

Something special is happening on Thursday evenings at Ashland Church of Christ. Last night’s Rooted Prayer Experience was another reminder of how powerful it is when God’s people come together simply to seek Him.

During these moments we pause from our busy week, center our hearts, and lift our prayers as one body. Scripture is read, requests are shared, and there’s space to listen for the Spirit’s leading. It’s a simple rhythm — prayer, God’s Word, and quiet attentiveness — yet it’s been deeply transformative for everyone who’s taken part.

You're Invited

Because the experience has been so impactful, we’re continuing it every Thursday at 5:30–5:50 p.m. and opening the doors to the whole community. You don’t have to have been in a Rooted group to join us. Whether you’re brand-new to prayer or you’ve been walking with Jesus for years, there’s a place for you here.

Stay afterward for Bible Study at 6:00 p.m., or come just for prayer if that’s what fits your evening — either way, you’ll leave encouraged and refreshed.

What Is Rooted?

Rooted is more than a class — it’s a 10-week discipleship journey that helps people grow strong spiritual roots in Christ. Through daily devotions, small-group conversations, and practical experiences, participants learn to hear God’s voice, follow His call, and live out their faith in meaningful ways.

Another Rooted group will launch this spring, so keep an eye out for registration details if you’d like to take the full journey.
