Rooted Celebration and Baptism!

Today was a beautiful day at ACC—one filled with stories, transformation, community, and the unmistakable presence of Jesus. Our Rooted Celebration Sunday gave us the chance to worship together, see cardboard testimonies, and celebrate a public declaration of faith through baptism. What a morning!

What Rooted Is All About

Rooted is a 10-week discipleship journey designed to connect people to God, the church, and their purpose. It’s not a class—it’s an experience. Over these last ten weeks, our Rooted participants explored the 7 Rhythms of a Healthy Disciple:

Daily Devotion

Prayer

Repentance

Sacrificial Generosity

Serve the Community

Share Your Story

Worship

Each week challenged them to grow deeper in Christ, develop spiritual habits, and learn how to walk with Jesus in a new and intentional way.

The Power of Cardboard Testimonies

One of the most meaningful moments of today’s service was the Cardboard Testimony time. Weeks ago, each participant wrote what their life looked like before Rooted. Today, they flipped those boards over to reveal the transformation God has been working in their lives.

Broken → Healed

Lost → Found

Fear → Freedom

Isolation → Community

Stuck → Growing

Confusion → Clarity

Anxious → Rooted in Peace

Simple words—but powerful stories of God’s faithfulness.

Baptism Sunday

We also had the joy of celebrating Mat Sisti’s baptism today! Baptism is a beautiful symbol of dying to the old life and rising into the new life found in Jesus. What an honor to witness his public confession of faith. We rejoice with heaven!

A Day of Community, Faith, and Celebration

After service, we continued the celebration with food, fellowship, and grateful hearts. Days like today remind us of why we gather—to grow, to encourage one another, and to witness God transforming lives before our eyes.

“Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works… encouraging one another” (Hebrews 10:24–25).

Today, we lived that out together.
