What a week we’ve just experienced in Ashland! The Jericho Walk is complete — and our hearts are full. https://photos.app.goo.gl/gpEFUpuX7hxLCsaE7
Over the past seven days, more than 200 people from eight churches joined together to circle our town in prayer, believing that God could bring freedom and hope.
Every step was a declaration that the walls holding us back don’t have the final word.
Together we asked the Lord to:
Break chains that keep people bound
Restore hope where despair has taken root
Reunite families and heal fractured relationships
End addictions and bring lasting freedom
Bring clarity in a world of confusion — helping people know who they are and who God is
During the walk, we also lifted up our nation as we mourned heartbreaking events that happened this week — the tragic death of Charlie Kirk, the shooting at Evergreen High School in Colorado, and other losses across the country. We prayed for grieving families, for survivors and first responders, and for peace to take root where violence tried to steal hope.
Sunday’s finale was unforgettable: six laps completed through the day, then one final lap at 6 p.m. Hundreds of voices joined in worship, and shouts of praise rang out as we celebrated the goodness of our King. Just as the walls of Jericho fell, we believe God is tearing down barriers of fear, division, and hopelessness in our own community.

Thank you to everyone who walked, prayed, encouraged, or supported from home. The Jericho Walk may be finished, but its ripple effects are just beginning. Let’s keep moving forward in faith, loving our neighbors, and trusting the One who brings walls down and builds new life.
