What's going on at ACC?

Resentment is understandable when we’ve been hurt, but it is also deadly—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Through David’s encounters with Shimei, we learn the courage to forgive instead of striking back, the grace to release bitterness, and the reminder that forgiveness is not a one-time event but a continual process. Jesus calls us to forgive as we’ve been forgiven, letting go of poison and walking in freedom.

This Sunday, we continued our “Essentials” series with a message on Confess. Pastor Jamie Allen unpacked Romans 10:9 and reminded us that confession isn’t just speaking words—it’s declaring with boldness that Jesus is Lord. We explored why confession matters, how it transforms our lives, and what it means to live out our faith in word and action. True confession is both a surrender and a testimony to the world.

In today’s message, Repent, Pastor Jamie Allen showed us that belief is just the beginning—true faith leads to repentance. We explored how repentance means more than feeling sorry; it’s conviction, contrition, and real change.
