What's going on at ACC?

As we closed out the year, Pastor Collin Brennan invited our church family to reflect on a simple but urgent question: Are we ready? Following Christmas and on the edge of a new year, this message looked not backward, but forward—to the promise of Christ’s return. Drawing from Isaiah 62 and Matthew 25, Pastor Collin walked us through Jesus’ parable of the ten virgins, reminding us that spiritual readiness isn’t about appearances—it’s about what’s burning within.

The wise men traveled far to seek Jesus. Their hearts were set on worship. Advent calls us to pursue Him with the same desire and devotion.

Jesus’ name reveals His purpose: He came to save. His name carries hope, healing, forgiveness, and authority. There is no name more powerful.

Joseph modeled a quiet, steady obedience. He trusted God even when the path was confusing. His faithfulness helped protect and nurture the coming Messiah.

Sunday, December 7th, Billy Willis from Youth Alive as our guest speaker. Billy will be bringing a powerful and timely message titled “Compassion”, rooted in Matthew 9:36–38.

Jesus gave the Lord’s Prayer (Luke 11:2–4) as a guide for how to pray—honoring God, seeking His will, asking for daily needs, receiving and giving forgiveness, and asking for protection from temptation. Make it personal and specific to your life. Set aside intentional time to pray, but also “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17), keeping a continual conversation with God throughout your day.
