Serving with Love – One Sandwich at a Time

Ashland Church of Christ is excited to partner with AAO Cares Ministries, a faith-based organization in Springfield, IL, that walks alongside individuals in recovery. AAO Cares brings Jesus into the healing process through in-person meetings and helps connect people with trusted professional counselors and therapists when additional care is needed.

As part of this mission, we’re helping meet physical needs too—one peanut butter and jelly sandwich at a time.

📅 Every Sunday (After Lunch)

Stick around after our fellowship meal to help us make PB&J sandwiches for the homeless.

🚗 Mondays (Delivery Day)

Volunteers are needed to deliver the sandwiches to Springfield, where they’ll be distributed by AAO Cares Ministries.

This is a simple, hands-on way to serve with compassion and extend Christ’s love beyond our walls.
